My art of choice is iconography.

I have been painting icons for 11 years now. I am self-taught, so to speak – I picked up the art from a friend who taught me the traditional iconography technique.

Icon from griego "eikon", significa "image". In modern culture it is also used in the general sense of "symbol". The art of making icons, iconography, follow certain symbolism that carries a message. An icon can be a meaningful gift to family or friends.

Every new icon I paint, I try to make it better – more spiritual, más refined, more powerful.
