Anatoly Papanyan was born in 1941 in Armenia.
1967 – Graduation from the State Institute of Arts in Yerevan, Armenia.
1968 – 1976 – statewide exhibitions of young artists in Armenia.
1980 -1985 — participation in "Armenian Art Abroad" exhibitions in:
Ceylon
Austria
Luxemburg
USA
Canada
and Finland.
1990-1991 – acquisition of artworks by the Armenian State Picture Gallery and The Modern Art
Museum in Yerevan, Armenia.
1992 – Acquisition of artworks by the Pushkin's Museum of the Western Art in Moscow, Russia
(five etching prints).
1981-1991 – Teaching in the Experimental Centre of Aesthetic Education and the Art Institute in
Yerevan, Armenia.
1993 – Moving to Israel
