Yastrebov Aleksandr

Alexander Vitalievich Yastrebov was born on February 7, 1989 in Odessa region. His youth was spent in Zhitomir region. Currently lives and works in Odessa. After the 9th grade he entered Zhytomyr College of Culture and Arts I. Ogienko, specializing in arts and crafts. After graduating from college in 2009, he traveled around Ukraine painting, and in his free time he painted portraits, landscapes and compositions.
At the end of 2012 he moved to Odessa and entered the Odessa State Academy of Construction and Architecture, specializing in Fine Arts. During his studies he was fascinated by the works of I.E. Repin, N.I. Feshin, M.O. Vrubel, I.I. Shishkin, Rembrandt Harmens van Rijn. Practiced copying of outstanding works of artists on such bases as: wood, canvas, sailcloth. From the materials preferred to work in the technique of oil painting and acrylic.
Since 2015, his canvases have featured cutting edge ideas of the time combined with historical, mythological and biblical subjects in the form of postmodernism, pop art, realism, nonconformism and street art.
Currently, he plans to hold solo exhibitions in museums in Odessa and other cities of Ukraine.
The purpose of his work is to create a unique flavor of atmosphere, mood and feelings of the viewer who sees these works.
