Cherepakhin V. F. was born in 1939. in the city of Taganrog. In the war during the bombing lost their parents. From 1947. was raised in an orphanage in Taganrog, in the same given and surname. Drawing started when I was in 2nd grade. 1961, he entered the art-graphic faculty of the Krasnodar pedagogical Institute. In 1966 sent to the Chita region. There he began to participate in exhibitions — regional and national. He worked in the Chita art Fund. In Chita was admitted to the Union of artists of the USSR. Award winner Chita Komsomol organization.
In 1984 he moved to live in the city of Gelendzhik. Many works of Viktor Yanukovych have gone to private collections in Russia and abroad: Germany, England, France, Greece.
The work of V. F. Cherepakhina purchased by the Union of artists of the USSR and RSFSR, the artistic Fund of the USSR and the RSFSR Ministry of culture of the USSR and the RSFSR. Most of the works are in museums of Russia.
In 2012, Yanukovych has been included in the Unified art rating of Professional artists ' Union of Russia with the assignment of category 4. (Certificate No. 1212005).
