Elena A. Kurnosova
Born on 06/10/1979.
As a child, Elena loved to play with dolls, but not just any dolls, but drawn ones.
Since they were very rare, Elena drew them and cut them out of paper herself, and then drew beautiful clothes for them.
In a small town of Zainsk where she lived, Elena was noticed and advised to enter the art studio by her instructor in fashion design.
In her youth, Elena immersed herself in the world of subtle, mysterious watercolor.
She was fascinated by its transparency, purity of color and brightness of pigment.

After graduating from the art studio, the future artist went to the capital of Tatarstan.
In 2000, already living in Kazan, Elena was trained in the art school, specializing as an artist designer.

And in 2009, she began her artistic activities.
She participated in the creative project of the German Youth Association in Moscow.

In 2010, she held a personal exhibition named “Melody of Spring” in the walls of the German building "Kirkha" in Kazan, the walls of which created a special, unique style and atmosphere of the exhibition.
In 2012, Elena was awarded in the category “Creativity” in the project Miss Perlenkette-2012, within the framework of which a workshop with the participation of the artist was arranged.
She also took part in thematic exhibitions arranged by the Union of Artists of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Later, due to the circumstances that arose in her life, Elena had to move to her homeland, a small town in Tatarstan.
There she discovered the soft, gentle, velvety world of pastel.
It's impossible not to love pastel. It attracts with its nobility, freshness of color, velvety texture surface, liveliness and exciting vibrancy of the stroke.

In 2021, Elena's several paintings were transferred to the museum of the “Energetik” Children's Art House in the town of Zainsk.

And to date, in her heart live two loves. They are watercolor and pastel techniques.
