I would like to share my story and tell about my journey as an artist: when and how I began to draw pictures, why this process is very important to me now.

I began to draw a long time ago, when I was still in high school, combining school and art school. In connection with moving art school had to give up and draw just for fun in their free time. After graduating from high school I went to art school, which I must admit I never finished. At that point I was confronted by some alumni who told me that I could leave art school in 5 years without getting anything or improving my skills. Then those words had an impact on me and after serving in college I didn't go back, I went into sports.

Then work, family, and as it usually happens, creativity took a back seat. So for the last 30 years, I didn't even hold a pencil in my hands.

I decided to return to art due to the difficult circumstances of my life. A massive stroke on my legs made me unable to work. It had become difficult to walk and talk, now I spend most of my time at home. I felt the need to do something I had neglected in the bud many years ago. I started painting again, getting my hands dirty. Amazingly, my hands remember everything and pretty quickly I got involved in the process, devoting more and more time to painting.

I don't have an art education or much experience, but I try to paint the way I remember and feel. I'm self-taught and I don't hide it.
