The ancient Greek myth about Pygmalion and Galatea:
The legendary king of Cyprus Pygmalion lived alone, avoiding women of his Kingdom as they considered them all corrupt, and the fact that they traded his body. In my solitude Pygmalion carved from ivory a statue so beautiful woman that fell in love with his creation. Pygmalion asked Aphrodite to breathe life into the statue; she became the wife of Pygmalion named Galatea.
