This work for me is like a break from the hustle and bustle of the day, when lonely rocks plunge into the evening fog and prepare to go into the darkness to spend the whole night in peace.
I tried to express the silence with simple textures and residual sun glare at the edges of the cliff.
The painting was painted in one layer with wide, bold strokes to show the integrity and large mass of a single stone in the middle of a vast desert.
I really like the desert backgrounds of Salvador Dali, but there are too many events in his paintings. In my photo there is a desert with no events, which is wonderful.
It is sold without frames and hangers and has no special requirements.
