Fairy

According to most popular beliefs, a fairy is a mythical creature that looks similar to elves, has small wings on its back and lives in forests, mountains, streams. Most often, the image of a fairy is female, less often in legends and myths there are also male fairies. In most cases, they are young and surprisingly beautiful in appearance, but you can also find references to ugly old fairies. These creatures are endowed with a magical gift, are able to perform various miracles (they usually perform them with the help of their almost indispensable attribute – a magic wand) and can turn, for example, into stones, plants, clouds, etc. According to Western European myths about fairies, these creatures, if they are female, wear light airy dresses made of flower petals, have long golden hair, pale or slightly bluish skin and thin ringing voices. Little witches feed on dew and nectar.
