Reproduction of a painting by the Baroque artist, master of floral still life - Rachelle Ruysch.
Floral still life is the most popular type of Dutch still life. When choosing flowers for a still life, preference was given to the rarer and most beautiful ones. Floral still lifes were highly valued and could even be used as very expensive gifts.
Rachel herself became the first female painter accepted into the fraternity of artists of The Hague, as well as an artist at court. Only about 100 of her paintings have survived to this day.
Painting such paintings is a long process, it takes from one month. I will be happy to write for you.
