An owl, shrouded in a mystical halo, has long been considered a symbol of wisdom, knowledge and intuition. Its ability to see in the dark, to penetrate the curtain of night with its gaze, is associated with insight and the ability to see what is hidden from others. In different cultures, the owl is perceived differently, but is almost always associated with the world of spirits, secret knowledge and foresight. In ancient Greek mythology, the owl was a companion of Athena, the goddess of wisdom, which strengthened its symbolic meaning as a messenger of knowledge and enlightenment. The owl's ability to turn its head almost 270 degrees is interpreted as the ability to see a situation from different sides, to have a broad outlook. Its nocturnal lifestyle is associated with the world of dreams, the subconscious and magical powers.
