Fiolent is a cape on the Gerakleysky Peninsula on the southwestern coast of Crimea, in the Balaklava district of Sevastopol. On the territory of the cape there is a nature reserve of the same name. Cape Fiolent is located 15 kilometers from the center of Sevastopol in the direction of Yalta. The Main (Southern) Ridge of the Crimean Mountains begins here, ending at Cape Ilya near Feodosia. Fiolent is composed of volcanic rocks, the remains of an ancient volcano that was active here in the Middle Jurassic period (152-163 million years ago).
