In 2014, I visited an abandoned village in the Ryazan region. The village was founded in the early 17th century. At various times, it had a population of 1,500 to 2,500 people. No one lives in it now. The houses are abandoned, some of them destroyed or dismantled. The people here have survived several wars, tsarist Russia, the revolution, the Soviet regime, collectivization, perestroika. At the beginning of the 21st century, the village was completely deserted. There are thousands of such villages in Russia...the houses were empty. People left and didn't take their things with them. In the courtyard of an empty house, I found a frame with photos of people who lived in this house.Photos of 50-60 years of the 20th century. I was really sorry, so I took it and made a collage...Saved the frame and photos. The rest is my imagination.
