Perhaps it was slowly drizzling outside the window, and the drops were leaving intricate patterns on the glass, or the city was just awakening, painted in the gentle colors of dawn. Maybe twilight was already thickening outside, and the lights of the street lamps were beginning to bloom like distant stars.
She did not move, her pose was filled with some kind of inner thoughtfulness. One could only guess what she was thinking about: about yesterday, about plans for the future, about distant dreams, or simply enjoying a moment of silence, distancing herself from the bustle of the outside world.
