Sometimes the plots of the paintings appear quite unexpectedly.
That's exactly what happened with Peter Rabbit.
In the evening, the whole family watched a light funny comedy about the adventures of a small and restless rabbit named Peter, who wants to get into the garden to a formidable farmer and enjoy plenty of fruits and vegetables there. And I so wanted to collect his portrait in my favorite author's manner - Stacking techniques. I connected different shades of paper strips to achieve a color transition, cut the strips into small segments, corrugated and glued to achieve depth and volume. Each element of the portrait was thought out to the smallest detail. I always pay special attention to the eyes, they should be "alive" and the look should "follow" the movement.
The picture is in a single copy, exact repetition is impossible. Made in Stacking techniques from strips of Korean and Japanese paper. Deep frame, sail, solid wood, oak.
