HERITAGE

In my new job, I tried to reflect my vision of trends in the global artistic community. Each artistic style gains its followers and is criticized. Both of these phenomena affect new styles especially acutely. For example, at one time impressionism was persecuted, then Suprematism, but both of these styles eventually found their followers and are now very popular. In recent years, hyperrealism has become another new style. This style emerged from the ability to use high-resolution photographs as reference and thus work out the smallest details. Some artists consider it wrong to draw from a photograph instead of using real life. Others believe that due to the photorealism of the image, the meaning of painting is lost. Supporters of hyperrealism, of which I include myself, are attracted by the complexity of the work process, which requires patience and high skill. I also like to mix hyperrealism with elements of other styles to achieve unique effects. My work “Heritage” depicts my vision of the situation. The upper hand symbolizes impressionism, which, in my opinion, is the most popular in our time. This hand passes the hand to the lower hand, which symbolizes hyperrealism. This transfer symbolizes the cyclical nature of trends in painting. Impressionism also once received this brush from academicism. Hyperrealism will one day transfer it to another style that will gain popularity in the future. But I try to maintain a balance in my works. And I think that there is no point in talking about the pros and cons of styles. The main thing is that the style chosen by the artist helps to reflect the idea of ​​the painting as much as possible.
